PIONEERING CHANGE
FOR THE UK ECONOMY, FOR THE PLANET
What is our purpose?
The Green Britain Academy has one single purpose: to help support the creation of 700,000 low carbon jobs in the UK by 2030. We do that by partnering with some of the UK’s most forward-thinking employers and by matching them with training providers who work with us to tailor and deliver unique programmes for the future needs of employers. The outcome of this is to create students who will be pioneers of the future low carbon economy in the UK.
The GBA is an initiative founded by Dale Vince, entrepreneur and environmentalist, Founder Ecotricity and Skydiamond, UNFCC climate Champion; artist, broadcaster and writer, John Robb; and Mark Headley & David Cormack of Theme.
BECAUSE IT MATTERS
The Green Britain Academy is supported through the national provision of government adult skills funding and delivered through a wide variety of new and exciting blended career pathway programmes, delivered online and offline in community classrooms and in the workplace.
Together, we can pioneer change. But will you join the green jobs revolution?
700,000 GREEN JOBS
